Executive, Infrastructure Support
Responsibilities:
- To be responsible for YHI Local Area Network and Wide Area Network (YHI New Infrastructure).
- To install, administer and configure infrastructure system and application (e.g. Active Directory Services, Data Centre, telephony, server storage, backup, etc), network devices (Firewall, routers, VPN, internet proxy, wireless, etc), desktop and mobile devices.
- To ensure that systems are backup automatically, recovery plans and disaster recovery plans and patches are carried out successfully and monitor the systems’ resources usage closely.
- To liaise with external vendors for hardware and ensure service is met according to Service Level Agreement (SLA).
- To draft and update technical documentation such as administration & user guide and document all system change requests. Manage Change Request (CR), responsibilities include tracking of CR raised, review of CR effort, assess impact and solution proposed and facilitate users in CR testing.
- To communicate to customers, resolution and root cause resulting from the outage or service disruption.
- To provide support on escalated cases from Service Desk and ensure that service level guarantee (SLG) is met.
- To be responsible for the BASIS function in SAP implementation.
- Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology OR/AND
Certification in CCNA / MCSE / ITIL
- For Degree holder, at least 2 years of relevant experience
- For Diploma holder, at least 4 years of relevant experience.
- Good knowledge of SAP Basis (version ECC 6.0 onwards), network infrastructure and database administration.
- Proficient in enterprise networking including experience in implementing and supporting MPLS and WAN optimization.
- Familiar with internet architecture designs such as DNS, DHCP, Proxy and Firewall.
- Experience in VM Ware platform, UNIX, Linux and Window Servers.
- Experience in application hosting or data center environment.
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin (Need to liaise with Mandarin speaking counterparts)
