Non-disruptive replacement of a disk failed in EMC COB storage #328 Advised by EMC CE to do a proactive replacement ASAP 2) The impact on the business if the change does not happen. - There will not be a protection for the failed devices, should there be another Cooling Exhaust FAN failure. - There will not be a protection for the failed devices, should there be another disk failure. 3) What could be the impact should your change fail. - Since this is an on-line replacement (no machine/system will be shutdown), so no impact is expected even if the change fails. 4)Why must this change be done during the freeze period? It is an unforeseen hardware failure and so, it should be done ASAP 5) Impact and Dependency on other applications - No impact and no dependency on other applications. 6) Is there any on-line impact and has users agreed to this outage? Please provide User's mail of Concurrence. - No online impact. 7) Can this change be done after online is down?
