recover
Just in case anyone manages to blow away some code with some hasty typing, here are some instructions on how to perform a recovery.
root@eusan-mgt1<364>recover -s rdcbackv1 recover: Current working directory is /var/opt/san/timscripts/Now change the time to the recovery time that you require.
recover> changetime 12/02/06 time changed to Sat Dec 2 23:59:59 2006Now change the directory to the required location:
recover> cd /var/opt/san/timscripts/SRC/SANDB/FABRIC_LOGINS recover> ls -l total 6 -rwxr-xr-x root 3049 Nov 11 17:10 check_fabric_login -rwxr-xr-x root 2538 Dec 01 16:06 generate_lpfc_conf.pl =item *
Now add the files that require recovery:
recover> add generate_lpfc_conf.pl
1 file(s) marked for recovery
recover> volumes
Volumes needed (all on-line):
AA1377 at rjb05
Now start the recovery process:
recover> recover
recover: Total estimated disk space needed for recover is 3 KB.
