NAME

 sandb_update


SYNOPSIS

 sandb -update_host -wwn <WWN> -host <hostname> -new_host <new_hostname>
 sandb -update_host -host <hostname> -wwn <WWN> -new_wwn <new_WWN>


DESCRIPTION

sandb_update contains the command subset required to update existing objects within SanDB


COMMANDS

-update_host
Update_host is responsible for updating host objects within SanDB. Using this command, it is possible to update both the hostname and WWN of a server instance.

When updating a host, please pass the appropriate options, described as follows:

-wwn
This is the full WWN of the associated host (can be entered either with or without semicolons).

-host
Hostname assigned to the host instance.

-new_host
New hostname to be assigned to the host instance.

-new_wwn
New wwn to be assigned to the host instance.
