Java Architect Certification
forum
I have just set up a discussion forum for the Java Architects Exam, I'm
hoping to learn stuff myself as I don't know much. It is using some software
that will break down the message list into pages so it shouldn't get into
the zillion kb main page problem (fingers crossed) Come and say hello at
www.jchq.net/discus
I have created an archive of message from the old forum at
http://www.jchq.net/archives/jarch.zip
Oracle Study
Oracle 8.1 has a JVM in the database and Oracle is in bed with Sun/Netscape/IBM
etc so when you have passed the programmers exam, how about becoming qualified
on Oracle. See http://www.orastudy.com
for more.

zipped up the index and message from the discussion forum. You can download
it from here
but beware that it is about 3MB. If you have an unreliable net connection
do the download with soemthing like wget or gozilla (search www.google.com
to find out what they are)
About this site
This site is designed to provide information relating to the Sun Certified Java
programmers Exam. It is entirely independent of Sun Microsystems
the creators of Java Technology. The Sun Certified Java Programmers
Exam (SCJP) and Java Certified Developers Exam are the internationally
recognised certification of Java knowledge. The actual Certification
tests are taken through Sylvan Prometric.
This siste attempts to be a resource to locate all major sources
of information on the exams both commercial and freely available
web resources. The FAQ list (Frequently Asked Questions) contains
links to other Certification resources including books, mock exams,
discussion groups and mailing lists.
In addition to ponters to other resources this site contains
a wealth of original resources including a substantial tutorial
equivalent to a book in its own right.
The mock exams are modelled after the real thing. They answers
to all questions with explanations for each question and links
to further explanations in the tutorial
This site gets considerable web traffic and returns a high ranking
in the major web search engines.
I have been writing a document
to cover some of the issues relating to the Java2 exam. It is
very much under construction and unfinished at the moment, but
it may shed some light on some of the issues. I have also written
a document
about the topics that are not on the exam.
