These scripts will provide the information necessary to update the excel sheet.

For each array output the pertrinent information is as follows:

- Used GBs (from the Fibre disks only!)
- Configured Devices 
- Available Devices

open up the Latest VMAX Capacity Excel sheet located on Sharepoint

current latest version is "VMAX Capacity V10 (2013)"



Open the "Table" tab.

Copy lines 1 to 12.

Insert the copied lines at the top of the sheet.

Change the date in line 1 to todays date.

take the information from the scripts for each array and insert that information into the relevant cells in table just created.

For each array the pertrinent script output information is as follows:

- Used GBs (from the Fibre disks only!) - insert that into the "Used GB" Cell under the relevant SID.
- Configured Devices - this figure should match the "# Devices" cell under the relevant SID.  Update the cell if the output figure differs.
- Available Devices - highlight the "# Allocated" cell under the relevant SID. If the number in the formula differs from the script output, update the formula number.
NOTE: for arrays 2230 & 2231, update the leftmost number in the formula.

Complete this update for all arrays shown.

Complete the following steps for each one of the following tabs

Used space Charts
Subscription charts
Used GB charts
Allocated charts

1) copy line 3
2) highlight line 4 
3) righ-click for a pop-up menu
4) click Insert copied cells
5) change the date in cell A3 to todays date
