Replace the cartridges

To replace the cartridges

  1. Check that power is on.

  2. Remove cartridge.

    1. Open the cartridge access door.

      Wait for print carriage to move to the right side of the printer.

    2. Lift up the cartridge tab, and then remove it from the slot.

  3. Insert new cartridge.

    1. Remove cartridge from packaging.

    2. Remove plastic tape using pink pull tab.

    3. Place new cartridge in slot at an angle under the opened tab, and then squeeze the tab closed as the cartridge slides into place.

    4. Close the cartridge access door.

  4. Load plain paper and print out the alignment page.

  5. Load the alignment page print-side down on the right front corner of the scanner glass, close the lid, and then press OK to complete the alignment.
